Common Problems in Paste Box Process

1. Carton deformation

There are three main reasons for carton deformation: 

(1) Some die-cutting plates are made by hand, often because of low precision, the carton size is inconsistent, and the carton is deformed when gluing the box.

(2) The concentration of the adhesive is low and the water content is large, which causes the paperboard to absorb moisture and deform, and the paperboard is not flat after forming.

(3) Atomatic folder gluer itself is not well adjusted.

To solve this problem, as long as the quality of automatic folder gluer’s die-cutting is stable, the appropriate concentration of adhesive is selected, and the automatic folder gluer is adjusted.

2. Misalignment of automatic folder gluer’s sticky mouth

The incorrect alignment of adhesive port means that the automatic folder gluer’s adhesive port is misplaced, and the misplaced carton can not be well formed. This phenomenon is usually caused by the inaccurate adjustment accuracy, further speaking, the main reason is that the operators do not know enough about the box type and automatic folder gluer, which affects their operation level. Therefore, strengthening the training of operators, improving their operating skills and their understanding of complex box shapes can effectively avoid the problem of inaccurate alignment of the sticky mouth.
